Your privacy matters. Online Free Ruler is designed to work without collecting personal information. This policy explains what we do and, more importantly, what we do not do with your data.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not ask you to register, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any personal information to use the ruler. We do not run advertising networks or third-party analytics that profile you across the web.
Data Stored on Your Device
To keep the ruler accurate between visits, your calibration setting (screen pixel density), preferred unit, and theme are saved in your browser's local storage. This information stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it anytime from your browser settings or with the Reset option in the calibration dialog.
Third-Party Services
The site is served as static files and loads a web font from Google Fonts to display text. Your browser may contact Google's font servers to fetch these fonts, which is subject to Google's own privacy practices. We do not share any personal data with them because we do not collect any.
Children's Privacy
The tool is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
